Your party of four were not tied into any dinner package......upon looking at the menu if you felt it was to expensive you and the rest of your party could of declined to eat with us
as it was you decided to order the most expensive items on the menu.... if you felt that the food was not very good and over priced..

"Lovely weekend break"

We were looking for a long weekend in a lovely country pub with character, a warm welcome and good food - Bants delivered on all aspects. The friendly, personal service was great and the food was excellent. The room we had was a good size and the free wifi was really useful. We enjoyed a very relaxing stay. Read less

We really enjoyed the food, the personal service and the relaxing atmosphere.

Dislikes:

Our bed was a little hard but that was simply due to personal preference and was not a big issue.

The friendly staff, the quaint rooms, the excellent food, very convenient location.

Dislikes:

It was generally very hot weather so the room was uncomfortably warm at night, but that couldn't have been helped, and we did have a fan.

"Great, friendly stay in the Worcestershire countryside"

I was made welcome from the moment I arrived. Steve and Sue Bant were friendly and helpful throughout my stay and I did not feel awkward despite being on my own.

The evening dinner and breakfast the following morning we delicious and well cooked. The room was cosy, comfortable and full of character. Read less

The hosts make Bant's. The rooms have retaining their historical character but still felt cosy and comfortable. I liked being in a separate building to the main pub/restaurant.

Dislikes:

The road outside had steady traffic until late in the evening but it was not enough to keep me awake.

"Sleepless"

My partner and I live some miles apart and we met at this central location to celebrate our anniversary. The stay was for one night only. The bed was massive but awful and neither of us slept a wink. The threat of being charged and thrown out for bringing alcohol to the room was unpleasant. The bathroom was lovely but the toilet seat was broken! We had our own patio area but the seats had been left out in the rain so were unusable. Overall, absolutely not worth the price paid for one night. Read less

We liked the size of the room, the private patio area outside, the large bathroom and the privacy offered by a detached building. The waitress service for the evening meal was very good.

Dislikes:

The super king size bed is made from two singles which zip together, making the middle unusable. Alcohol cannot be consumed unless purchased on the premises. The toilet seat was broken.

All king size beds are made of 2 matresses zipped together.. health and safety reasons.. housekeeping staff have to tun tham weekly
Toilet seat is self closure so it does not bang shut it was not broken in the morning so thank you if you fixed it
If a mistake with your order was made at breakfast i do aplogize but it would have been corrected straight away
As i remember you brought and consumed plenty of your own alchol on the patio area in the afternoon without threat or being thrown out
