Likes:

The gardens were very pretty and well tended. It was good to have a picnic bench outside the room.

Dislikes:

We thought it was most unusual not being allowed to drink our own drinks in the room.

.As a previous guest had a nasty accident due to drinking to much in their room we felt as responsible licencese that notices in the guest information pack
stating that only food and drink purchased from ourselves was able to be consumed in the bedrooms enable us to monitor the amount that some customers may drink
exactly the same as we do in the pub itself .Also legally our premises are licensed only for the cosumption of alchol which has been purchased from us.

We had a really lovely stay at Bants. We were upgraded to a suite for no extra cost, and everyone we met was very friendly. All the food was delicious - we were on a dinner/B&B deal and also bought lunch there. The choice at breakfast was great (everything from Full English to pancakes, eggs benedict, smoked haddock and porridge plus lots of other things besides!), and we had a free choice of the menu for dinner (I'd assumed we might be restricted in our choice as we'd booked a package deal) Read less

Really friendly service, lovely surroundings, great food, room upgrade, room full of character (lots of beams etc), free WiFi, for somewhere so rural it was reasonably easy to get to without a car.

Dislikes:

Only minor comments would be the TV in the room was very small, the Freeview signal was a little iffy and the wifi stopped working one evening. But these were very minor things.

Our arrival was delayed because of traffic but we were given a warm welcome. Our drinks were waiting for us in the bar once we freshened up, then given time to peruse the dinner menu. The food was very good but choice was a bit limited, not many simple dishes, and the portions generous. Back in the bar after dinner the atmosphere was very relaxing. We stayed for 2 nights and were made to feel very at home. Read less

We Chose to spend a weekend in the Worcestishire/Warickshire area to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. Our accomodation (Laurel) was in one of the out buildings, was clean and of a reasonable size. Despite the inclement weather we enjoyed ourselves exploring Worcester and Stratford upon Avon and found no shortage of things to do. The food was excellent and even the breakfasts were cooked to order with plenty of choice. Read less

It was all it said it would be-charming 16th century out in the countryside, room was adequate, staff friendly and helpful

Dislikes:

The dining conservatory, cane/bamboo seating not comfortable to enjoy a three course meal, menu looked great but did not live up to expectations, food extremely hot, dont drink house white

Nice location, well landscaped and with ample off road parking. Don't rely on Google maps for image of Bant's as the one we saw was a derilict property a way along the road. Good free wi-fi access.
