Our welcome was excellent. Although we had the last room, this was very impressive and comfortable with the old barn beams showing. Dinner excellent and the cosy log fire in the bar just finished the evening off nicely. Breakfast again along the same lines. Sue,Steve and the family have to be commended and I have recommended 'Bants' to my friends and family. Will definitely return. Read less

This is a lovely hotel, offering good value for money and a good service. There are a wide range of breakfast choices. The rooms are attractively furnished and have character. Although our room (Oak) would perhaps be a little small for a longer stay it was well equipped with everything that you would expect to require including a greater variety of beverage options than is found in the rooms of hotel chains. Larger rooms are available at the same hotel if you are planning a longer stay. Read less

Had a great two night stay at Bants, room (Shakespeare) was large + views over fields. Near road but good windows so no noise. Large bathroom! Spotlessly clean - felt you were first people in! Had a great nights sleep & amazing choice of breakfasts (i.e. full, smoked salmon/scrambled egg, eggs benedict etc). Hospitality exceptional, clearly still have a passion for this and couldn't be more helpful! Wonderful meal in the restaurant and the pub has a really cosy feeling with open fireplace. Read less

 Stayed for one night. With two pubs and a carvery nearby, we were spoiled for choice regarding food. The pub we ended up visiting was great, as was the breakfast prepared by our hosts. The village itself is nice and peaceful and has some nice little walks where you can admire the countryside. Will definitely recommend this to others!
